1st February     Talk “Gardening and Climate Change” by Jim Paine.  East Anglian Garden Group at Bildeston.

2nd February:    East Ruston Old Vicarage Snowdrop event and talk.

3rd February:    Talk Winter Plants” by Helen Worvill.  Hartest & District Gardening Club.

4th February:    Talk “Skymeadow” Charlie and Sybilla Hart.  Boxford Garden Society.

6th February:    Talk “Composting” Christ Field.  Needham Market Garden Club.

8th February:    Talk “Some like it hot” Annie Godfrey. Norfolk & Suffolk Hardy Plant Society. Hethersett 2.00 pm.

8th February:    Talk “Bringing the Monkey Puzzle tree to Europe” David Gedye.  Cambridgeshire Plant Heritage, Scotsdales, Great Shelford. 2.30 pm.

16th February:    Gable House Redisham open for NGS, 11 am – 4 pm £4.50. Snowdrop day, snowdrops for sale soup lunches and home made teas.

16th February:    Talk “Alpines” Simon Wallis.  Norfolk Plant Heritage.

18th February:    The Place for Plants, East Bergholt, 11 am snowdrop and garden walk led by Rupert Eley. £10 includes garden entry and coffee.  Stout outdoor shoes essential.

22nd February:    Horkesley Hall open for NGS, 1 – 4 pm £6.

20th February:    Fullers Mill Snowdrop Day. 10 am – 2.30 pm.  Rod Leeds will be there to answer questions. Hedgehog are selling plants and the tea room will be open.  £5.

2nd March:    Talk “Herbaceous Border Design” Helen Hillier. Hartest & District GC.

2nd March:    Talk “Hostas” Ken Abel. Battisford & District Gardening Club.

3rd March:    Talk “Victorian Bedding” Sarah Mattocks. Boxford Gardening Society.

5th March:    Talk “Singapore” Colin Ward. Needham Market Garden Club.

7th March:    Talk by Nigel Dunnett. East Anglian Garden Group at Bildeston.

14th March:    Talk “Plants that excite” Andrew Ward. Norfolk & Suffolk Hardy Plant Society. Roydon 2 pm.

15th March:    Talk Stella Exley. Norfolk Plant Heritage.

28th & 29th March:    The Place for Plants, East Bergholt, annual open weekend.  11 am tour with Rupert Eley, free but must be booked.  Stout outdoor shoes essential.  Café open.

28th & 29th March:    National Hyacinth Collection open days, Waterbeach.

2nd April:    Talk “Flowering shrubs and trees” Matthew Tanton-Brown. Needham Market Garden Club.

4th April:    Talk “Geraniacae” by Andrew Ward. East Anglian Garden Group at Bildeston.

4th April:    Thornham Walled Garden, Eye IP 23 8HA open for NGS 11 am – 4 pm, £5.

5th April:    The Place for Plants, East Bergholt open for NGS 2 – 5 pm.

5th April:    Columbine Hall open day, part of the St Elizabeth Hospice Great Garden Trail 1 – 4.30 pm, and showing our Engleheart daffodil collection.

6th April:    Talk “Easy ways to better gardening” Adam Pascoe. Hartest & District GC.

7th April:    Talk “Bees and Flowers” David Coop. Boxford Gardening Society.

18th & 19th April:    Essex Plant Heritage Spring Plant Fair at RHS Hyde Hall.
